A husky hybrid who works as the chief for the DPF's Dimension Patrol Unit since 1937. The agency he is in charge of is the biggest in the DPF with the most employees out of the rest of the branches. Matías is the chief patrol officer who helps to dispatch other patrol officers across the dream world to help patrol the streets of the District and the rural dream world. Matías is described as pretty work loaded and is often stressed from the amount of work he has on a day-to-day basis. Nonetheless, he is still hard working and a dedicated chief officer who helps keep the dream world safe from crime.

More about Matías:

About the DPF:

I've called the DPF my home for about three thousand years now. Believe it or not, but I've worked in the DPU for all of that time. There isn't another agency that looked appealing for me to work in besides this one. I'll say that the DPF has a lot of benefits if you ever want to work here.

About the DPU:

The Dimension Patrol Unit is the biggest branch in the DPF in terms of employees. I can't disclose actual numbers, but there are a lot of officers that I look after. We deal with crime in the dream world by patrolling the streets and helping residents get around. It's honestly the "starter" agency many come to apply to when registering for the DPF. I suppose that's why we're the biggest branch.

About the Council:

It's not often that I've met with the Council. You may have heard that it's very, very rare to even see them in person. That's true. The only ones who may ever get to see the Council are humans wishing to go back to the real world. Even so, it may be for a short time before they are sent back with little memory of their time in the dream world...

About the Big Six:

I thought this nickname was a bit humorous. It makes us seem like we are some sort of superheroes of the dream world, but we're still quite ordinary. I think it's also humorous that we all have different personalities. I guess that's why the public finds interest and fascination with us. We can't ever let them down.

About his favorite food:

I don't mean to be that type of person, but I really, really like completos. If you've never tried one, it's basically the better version of the hot dog. You take a regular hot dog and add chopped tomatoes, avocado spread, mayonnaise, sauerkraut, and a few other ingredients. It's bigger than a hot dog and very good.

About his hat:

This hat isn't actually a part of a regular patrol officer's attire. It's just an accessory piece that I thought fit nicely with my overall outfit. If you like it, I can show you where I bought it.

About Lucid:

I came into this tenure after Lucid's trial and his seemingly return to the dream world. There were headlines for days and months after both of these events. I can't speak much positive light about Lucid as a chief, but even if all of his old records are gone, I'm sure people still remember how extraordinary of a person he was in his time as a regular resident of the dream world. You really won't find someone like him elsewhere.

About Nate:

Hallucinate was a part of my branch for several years. After Lucid left the DIA- and the trial occurred- Director Ferekides redirected Hallucinate to work in my branch. I suppose having Lucid as a detective partner for years and suddenly not having him around anymore hit him hard. Hallucinate would slowly adjust to his new job, but he made a lot of friends along the way. He was a pretty good patrol officer and very determined.

About Francis:

The thing that frustrates me the most about this Francis individual is the fact that none of my patrol officers have gotten sight or ahold of him. Even after dispatching more patrol officers to the rural dream world, there haven't been sightings at all whatsoever. Something tells me that he is hiding in those "dark" corners of the dream world or perhaps in the wilderness of the dream world. He has to be caught ASAP.

About Kamaria:

Chief Kamaria is quite smart and soft spoken. I think this makes her a pretty solid pick for chief of the IAA. With such intelligence, she knows more than the average person, but no one knows the extent of this intelligence. I wouldn't want to mess with her because it's more than likely she already knows more about you than you do about her. She has a very good memory and that is both a good thing and a scary thing. I still trust her and appreciate her input in our meetings.

About Vivienne:

Chief Vivienne is always full of energy- no matter the time of day. I'm not sure if it's the type of coffee that she drinks every day, but she sure loves to participate in meetings. You know, it's amazing how some quite gruesome crimes don't seem to have an effect on her. I often ask her if she's doing okay and she always says yes. I admire her strong will and perseverance. It's not a meeting if she's not putting in her two morphs. Really, it's not even the "Big Six" without her in it.

About Finnegan:

Leader Finnegan is another person who seems to have a lot of energy all the time. He's also always in a good mood and smiling all the time. He's the easiest between us to approach as he's pretty laid-back and flexible. I always found it amazing to how he could keep such a positive attitude to life even after everything he's been through. Having to lose your parents and fiancé in your life must hit you hard, but it doesn't seem like that if you see him. I think it's just a façade to hide his real sadness. We always remind him that we are there for him.

About Ophelia:

Chief Ophelia has been with us for a year or so, but she fit right in very well. I remember how she handled the NEAP-1 outbreak with determination and without fear. I can see why she was the top pick to be the next chief of the DDCP. She doesn't like to sugarcoat things and tells you straight to the point about things. This makes her very trustworthy and honest to work with. Since she took her position, it's been smooth for her- but that's good. Regardless, you're in good hands if a disease ever spreads in the dream world.

About Daiki:

I have known Tsukanai for many, many years now- much longer than I have with the other chiefs. He is quite reserved outside of work and doesn't like to spend time with anyone in his off days. At least, except with me. Sometimes, he will ask me to sit and chat in private because he knows I can become stressed in my line of work. I can't ever find myself to say no to him. We will chat at his home together and spend that time alone. It really helps clear my mind off of a lot of things. I really appreciate Tsukanai for everything he does. At both of our ages, I only wonder how much future there could be left for the two of us. He is quite amazing and incredible as a chief and as a person.

About Director Ferekides:

Director Ferekides has been a great help in keeping the DPF in order since its early beginnings. You know, a lot of people who start off at the DPF find him intimidating because of his build and height, but once you get to know him, he's a very great man. It's not hard to talk to him personally, but it is hard to actually get in contact with him as he's busy all the time. There's so many things you could ask him about the early dream world since, you know, he's lived so, so long.
