STRANGE SIGHTINGS BAFFLE DREAM WORLD TRAVELLERS

The Dimension Protection Force is receiving an increase of calls to their headquarters lately following multiple reports of an elusive dream world entity.
Reports describe the entity as wearing all black, black hair, black trident, black blindfold, black mask, with light brown skin. Reports like this come every now and then, and it appears that many are now reporting this individual once again.
“I saw it!” said a local witness, “I was making my way through the Forest Dimension, when I spotted it from afar! I tried to take a picture of it, but it vanished before I could!”
Another witness claims he actually talked to the individual. “Yeah I managed to get up close to him! I even asked him if the rumors were true! He didn’t answer me and quickly ran off in another direction. I just want to know if he did what others claim he did!”
“Bah, it has to be Lucid,” Telly of the TV Dimension told us, “If it is Lucid, he has some nerve to show himself around here! To think, he has no shame in making public appearances like that after what he did! I don’t trust him one bit. I’d trust what I see on TV more than him!”
According to files, Lucid is a former DPF member and dream demon. While some of his record is restricted from public view, there are conflicting reports stating that Lucid has been dead for a while now, while other reports state that this is not true. Recent sightings may debunk this theory, but the dream demon himself is extremely reserved from the public, should he really be alive.
According to the DPF, travellers are asked to report any sightings of this individual and to proceed with caution, should they encounter and come face-to-face with him. The DPF also expects reports to continue to come in through the rest of the month.
GHOST REPORTS EXPECTED TO SPIKE THIS MONTH

Nostalgists are forecasting a spooky month ahead, and so are ghost hunters.
October is notorious to bring about the rise of ghouls in the dream world, along with numerous seasonal dimensions. The most notable of these seasonal dimensions is the infamous mansion.
The mansion is very well known for being a strange place to navigate. While most who venture into it get lost, those who reach the end tell stories of a strange entity who owns the land, including the mansion itself. Nate of the DPF shares his own story.
“Oh, yeah! One time I was curious enough to go into the mansion and see what the hype was all about. Of course I had Lucid with me along the way, so I wasn’t scared! And well, things were going well until...we encountered him. I won’t say what happened, but to this day, I don’t think I would go back to that place.” Nate said as his expression turned sad.
Besides the seasonal dimensions, ghosts are expected to rise more than normal this month, which excites ghost hunters. While ghost hunting is allowed in the dream world, they are told to not harm these spirits and to set them free afterwards. Essentially, ghost hunting is a fun sport for entertainment.
Seasonal dimensions for Halloween are expected to manifest themselves starting October 21. Travellers are asked to report any abnormal ghost sighting to their nearest ghost hunting station.

Dear Nate, what’s your relationship with Lucid like?

Hello Aryu! Gee, I’m getting a lot of Lucid related questions lately! I don’t mind that! Lucid is very closed off from a lot of people, I guess for a good reason, so it’s fair if you have ongoing questions about him.
Lucid and I have been really good friends for about a thousand years now, maybe a little more than that. As you know, meeting him was a bit embarrassing on my part. But after we met, we did end up becoming closer as human time went on. He helped me train in the DPF when I got recruited! Even so, we even got partnered together to go do tasks and missions in the dream world.
One thing about Lucid is that he is very nice! Sometimes I’ll have a question or don’t know how something works, and he would tell me the answer to it. Sometimes I was a bit clumsy, but Lucid didn’t seem to really mind that. We would both laugh it off and continue on completing missions. Eventually, we did have to stop being partners, but it wasn’t our fault! Lucid had ended up getting a particular promotion, and I supported his decision.
Besides this, Lucid and I are very close. Well, we don’t see each other as much as we used to. Things happened to him and he ended up closing himself up from the dream world. I do visit him every now and then when I can, and he is still the same old Lucid that I met. He’s very kind, smart, strong, wise, and just someone I like being around. He’s...everything that I like...
Anyway! Yes, we are on good terms and still good friends. If anyone thinks otherwise, they should mind their own business!
Dear Nate, what are ghosts doing in the dream world?

Hi G! You know, ghosts are the most interesting things you might encounter in the dream world, at least in my opinion. I actually managed to learn about ghosts through the DPF, and even more through Lucid.
Ghosts are the one type of entity that can travel freely to and from the real world. In fact, they originate from the real world in the first place. When humans pass away, it is known that their soul separates itself from the body. That soul actually then transcends into the dream world! Human souls, now what we call “ghosts,” can exist in the dream world, with similar logic to dimensions and stuff. But unlike dimensions, which require mass memory and recollection to manifest, ghosts can appear in the dream world, should at least one human in the real world remember them. Once no human can remember them, they do fade away, sadly.
Believe it or not, we have ghosts from many, many years ago! In some way or form, there may be relatives who still honor their legacy in the real world, to the point where they still exist here in the dream world. If a human was quite well known, it is likely their soul will wander the dream world for many years to come. To think, you might encounter the ghost of Cleopatra, or even William Shakespeare is kind of cool!
Ghosts can travel to and from the real world, like I said earlier. There are stories of humans encountering paranormal events in the real world, like ghosts. Well yes, they are very much real! However, it is not quite known what causes some ghosts to manifest more strongly in the real world than others. Some say it has to do with the amount of emotion they have; souls with a much more sadder emotion may not really manifest well compared to souls who are quite angry and violent. Humans have developed names for different types of ghosts, like poltergeist, banshee, shade, etc.
Of course, ghosts have personalities based on their past life in the real world! Yes, some are quite angry, some are sad, some are good spirited, some are mischievous, and some are quite reserved. They appear transparent from everyone else and look pretty much human-like. However, some have enveloped the ability to change into different, much more grotesque forms, perhaps through some sort of dark magic put upon them- I’m not sure…
Regardless, ghosts are usually passive. In fact, some catch them for fun! Of course, none can be kept or destroyed, so they are let go. Some enjoy having fun being caught, while others get annoyed. Should you encounter a ghost, you should always approach with caution and respect, because the last thing you want to do is to upset a ghost after their death! Ghost sightings typically spike during October, so who knows, you may be lucky enough to see one or two this month!
