DINNER DIMENSION OPENS, LONG LINES FOR FOOD

The Dinner dimension has officially come back, and there are already long lines for food being reported.
The dimension was expecting an influx of visitors, but no one was expecting the lines to be this long so suddenly. “It caught me off guard,” a local eyeball creature said, “I came to see all the food, but ended up seeing a long line instead!”
While there is a table to sit at and enjoy the food, many are preferring to take their meals on the go. “I’d love to sit and chat, but I got a bar to go run!” said a local bartender, “Can’t keep the bar closed forever, but I do want a taste of these fries on the go!”
The Dinner dimension has come back in next week’s anticipation of a holiday. Dubbed, “Thanksgiving,” it is observed in the real world, but only by a small fraction of the entire real world’s population. Still, it is enough human memories to spawn a seasonal dimension for it.
Besides this dimension, the month of November is not expecting to see any more seasonal dimensions to pop up. While this might be disappointing for some, the Dinner dimension is here to stay until the beginning of December.
“It kind of sucks that November doesn’t have much else to offer, but look at all this food! Why should we be complaining when we got loads of free food!” said a local dogboy.
That being said, the Dinner dimension will be serving meals to those until December 2. Visitors are asked to be patient, as long lines are expected, but should be eased as the days go on.
DANCE CLUB OPENS UP SIGN UP FOR CONTESTS

The Club dimension, home to the dance club, has recently opened up sign up sheets for dance contests.
According to DJ Tempo, the owner of the dance club, the contest is open for anyone of any age! “Yeah this contest is for anyone who wants to show us what they got, yo!,” Tempo said, “We got records of all kinds of music: Pop, Electronic, Hip-Hop, Rock, heck, even Classical! Just let me know your taste, and I bet I got a record for ya here!”
Tempo says that when a dance contest is ongoing, the dance floor itself is cleared, making room for competitors who signed up.
“The dance floor is always open, but when we got a scheduled contest to take place, we gotta clear it! I hope we get competitors to sign up, we could really use people to move it and groove it up in here!” Tempo told me.
The Club dimension is located northwest of the Cafe dimension and east of the Arcade dimension for anyone wishing to visit. Competitors are wanted to sign up for dance contests and people are asked to dance along in the club if visiting.

Dear Nate, what types of weather phenomena can we see in the dream world?

Hello Atmos! Believe it or not, we do have different types of weather in the dream world, but most are quite rare to experience!
At the very basic, the two most common types of precipitation we are likely to experience are rain and snow. Rain and snow come in four types of classification: light, moderate, heavy, and storm. Under the storm category, it would be a thunderstorm for rain and blizzard for snow.
In the dream world, there is an organization that helps predict weather for all the dimensions! The Dimension Weather Prediction Service works every day to help determine the weather conditions for any dimension, and issue predictions for changing conditions. Most dimensions experience the same type of weather year-round, but some are always changing! Because of this, they mostly focus on dimensions with ever changing weather conditions. Severe weather is also possible, but it is very rare. Cyclones can be felt in the Beach dimension during some summer months, tornadoes can form in the Field dimension during spring months, and blizzards are possible in the Arctic dimension in the winter months. Should such an event occur, the DWPS issues advisories and the DPF temporarily closes said dimension until the threat is over.
There are other types of weather you might encounter in the dream world ranging from fog to heatwaves to wind to freezing rain. Non-weather events can also occur such as dreamquakes, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions, etc., and these are also monitored by the DWPS. You can also call their office to report any type of weather phenomena you encounter, whether it be benign or severe. Your reports make a difference and help improve the organization in terms of monitoring and making predictions!
Weather in the dream world can be so fascinating! It’s something not many take into account when travelling across dimensions, but it’s very interesting to learn about. One other thing to note is that their forecasts are measured in celsius, with very small pockets of fahrenheit in some dimensions. There’s so much more I can go on about this, but I would rather leave it to the brilliant weather people! Dear Nate, what happens if a dream demon bites someone else?

Hi Issa! The science behind the dream demon bite is a little lengthy, but I will break it down as simply as I can.
Most dream demons develop fangs at a young age. Unlike vampires, however, dream demons do not bite for a quick meal! Dream demon bites are extraordinarily rare, and only account for a very, tiny, miniscule amount of reports in the dream world averaging for only two a year! Dream demons will only bite in self defense, but this is usually their last resort. They will try to fight on their own, should they be threatened and provoked enough, but if they have nothing else to defend themselves with, they will resort to a singular bite.
Don’t be fooled though! While the bite may sting a little at the source, do not mistake it as something as tiny as a dog bite. When dream demons bite, a faint neurotoxin is injected into the subject being bitten. The longer you’re being bitten, the more of this neurotoxin is secreted into yourself. You may not feel anything at first, but should you go to sleep, this is where things get ugly! Such neurotoxins result in very terrible dreams, nightmares, upon the subject. These nightmares last depending on the length of the bite. A quick bite can result in having 1-2 sleeps consisting of nightmares, while longer bites may have you ending up in weeks or even a month of nightmares nonstop! Such nightmares are not known to last for a month, but in some rare cases, they have been recorded to last up to three months! Imagine having to go to sleep knowing you’ll be tormented all because of a bite...very scary to think about.
This is partly why we are called dream demons, because such bites induce vivid nightmares onto the subject when they go to sleep! But again, bites are very, very rare. I personally have never bitten anyone before, and don’t really intend on doing so. So just be nice if you encounter a dream demon, because their bites can cause you to be scared of going to sleep leading to insomnia and the like.
