DREAM WORLD INDIVIDUALS HAVE MUCH TO GIVE THANKS FOR

Several dream world entities are sharing what they are thankful for this year. I went wrong and interviewed multiple individuals and asked them what they are most thankful for this year.
Nate: There’s a lot of things I’m thankful for this year! I guess the biggest thing I’m thankful for this year is getting the opportunity to answer so many questions for the newspaper! It’s so nice to have people be curious about things in the dream world, so I’m thankful for getting the chance to answer what the people want to know!
Figment: Gee, there’s gotta be a thousand things I’m thankful for… The biggest one? Meeting all of the cool people who come and go in the Backrooms! Getting to spend time with them all makes me feel really happy knowing I’m helping them try to get in the right direction! Though it might get lonely in there, I'm thankful for everyone who stops by to say hi!
Telly: What a wonderful question! I am thankful to get the chance to travel freely in the dream world by television screen! This allows me to smoothly visit all corners of this vast, endless world while getting to do what I love most: channel surf! I must also thank those who put up television screens in dimensions for me to visit...what a delightful thing to do!
Cal: Thanks? I gotta say, I’m just thankful none of those trespassers came to steal my prized pumpkin! Ain’t no way that I was gonna let it be stolen, no way! I had to give up a pumpkin artifact to keep my pumpkin safe, you better be thankful for that yourself!
Almoral: Oh I’m so happy that people came to visit me this year! It gets lonely up here, but I ended up making really nice friends with those people who came to my mansion. I hope I get to see them again soon, along with Lucid too, of course!
Epsilon: I’m very thankful for the fact that I still have my vision. It’s been getting a little worse with the years, but I am still grateful that I can see.

WINTER FORECAST CALLS FOR NORMAL SEASON, COOLER TEMPS

Some early signs that the winter season is approaching are being felt in the dream world.
The Dimension Weather Prediction Service has issued an early forecast that is calling for an average winter season, with no unusual spike in dimensions expecting to get snow, as well as the usual snow amounts ranging from light to pockets of heavy. The DWPS says it is also a bit too early to determine if any blizzards are to be expected, but are urging individuals to prepare for cooler temperatures in some dimensions.
“While we cannot exactly pinpoint the exact forecasts for any of the winter dimensions this far out, we can say that we are expecting an average winter season in the dream world,” Cirrus, senior meteorologist at the DWPS tells me, “People should expect this winter season to be close to normal like any other year. Temperatures will be getting colder soon in some dimensions!”
Some individuals have begun getting an early taste of winter by heading to colder dimensions.
“Oh yeah, I came to the Home dimension to make some snow angels. I love winter! I just couldn’t wait any longer to enjoy the snow,” a local polar bear said.
“I love winter so much. Coming to the Establishment dimension is always so nice. You walk in, order yourself some tea, and you feel all cozy,” said a local nomad, “This place is always on my list of dimensions to visit during this time of year.”
When entering any winter dimension, it is always important to remember to bundle up. Temperatures are always below freezing, so putting on winter clothing is recommended heavily. While it’s still early for winter, it is expected that the first few winter dimensions will start coming back next week.
“We’re projecting that among the winter transformations of dimensions, the Beach dimension is being forecasted to turn snowy. It usually happens every year, so it’s safe to forecast that and issue advisories ahead of time,” Cirrus told me.
The dream world should start preparing to experience cooler temperatures in some dimensions starting next week. Consult with your nearest DWPS office for official forecasts about any dimension you plan on travelling to within the next week or so.

Dear Nate, what happens if a disease starts spreading in the dream world?

Hi Russ! Diseases are rare to spread in the dream world, but they do exist, and they affect people differently than others. Some might be naturally immune to it while others may end up catching it. Thankfully, many people who end up sick do not experience the worst of it- thanks to wonderful potions and medical elixirs that exist!
Still, outbreaks of disease are possible, especially if it’s a new disease that hasn’t been seen before. The Dimension Disease Control and Protection, a department within the DPF, is responsible for handling and responding to such threats. Disease, viruses per se, are a level three threat on the DPF threat level list- the highest level! So such threats are taken seriously and agents are deployed to respond to the dimension it originated from, to which is also closed down while the threat is ongoing.
It can be very tricky though. Agents are tasked with trying to find the source of the outbreak and then trace steps to see where the disease may have spread off to. They do many interviews, investigations, and keep track of data collected to help prevent it from spreading. These agents are very skilled with their jobs, and always end up doing a good job! However, in order for agents in this department to be deployed, they must have authorization from the Council to do so. Since this is a level three threat, the Council is the sole body who can approve deployment of agents to these types of threats.
There hasn’t been a significant outbreak in the dream world in around 100 years or so, so while diseases have come and gone, DDCP agents are very skilled and dedicated in their jobs, and we should be grateful they have stopped diseases from causing a complete shutdown of the dream world!
Disease can be scary, but there are always people out there working hard to stop them from going around and making others sick. Plus, we are always coming up with new elixirs and potions to make people feel better, so do not worry! If you think you’re feeling sick, you should head to the Office, Clinic, or Hospital dimensions for a check-up, duh!
Dear Nate, is there an official TV station in the dream world?

Hey Broady! There are many ways to receive information and news in the dream world, including by television.
WDRM is the official television station of the dream world, and they’re on at all hours! Their coverage goes on and on since it always seems like stories are breaking out there. They’ve only been around for sixty years or so, very young!
They have very well-trained and skilled anchors that always provide the most accurate information about what’s going on. They’ll even send out crews to cover breaking news stories, so don’t be caught off guard if you happen to get interviewed by them! I have been interviewed a few times, but I can be quite camera shy! Still, they are very nice and always want to provide the best coverage.
Besides regular news, WDRM will also cover other topics like sports, weather, entertainment, and fun little segments too! Their station is located in the Studio dimension where you can visit if you want a tour, but they prefer that you book an appointment first before coming.
WDRM is not the only television station though, there are other channels and stations, but they are very tiny and offer limited content. WDRM is the official one though, so if you’re looking for the latest breaking story, sports results, weather for tomorrow, celebrity gossip, or looking for a new dimension to go visit, you should tune in to their station! It is on channel 2, and it’s on all day and night!

Now- Final portals of the month open: Cooler weather means a nice bowl of warm ramen and warm tea. Just right.
December 2- Beach dimension returns: The DWPS has issued a freeze advisory for the Beach dimension...it’s about to get icy in there!
December 2- Seasonal dimension pops up: The ice looks thick enough to step on, but let’s hope I didn’t jinx it!
December 9- Holiday Party 2021 construction: Before we get to throw the merriest party of the year, we must first prepare and construct!
