FUGITIVE’S BOUNTY GOES UP FOLLOWING SUSPICIONS

A month following the freak weather event that affected the entire dream world, it is being reported that there is currently a suspect in question that is likely responsible for it.
According to DPF criminal files, former DPF agent and disgraced dream demon, Lucid, has been given a bounty raise. Lucid’s bounty sat at 3 million, but has now been raised to 5 million following this event. Although there is not enough evidence at the moment, the DPF is confident that the dream demon was behind this.
“Yes, we believe that Lucid has some, if not all, responsibility for what happened in the dream world last month,” DPF Director Ferekides tells me, “Only someone as intelligent as him could have done such a thing at such a large scale.”
DPF agent and crime investigator, Hallucinate, believes it is too soon to point fingers.
“Yeah yeah, I get that Lucid’s getting heat for this, but I still haven’t found enough evidence to support it! I’ve been going around asking people and getting tips, but nothing’s been the smoking gun,” he tells me, “As a matter of fact, I’ve had to pick up a tiny case relating to the DPDS after their machine started acting weird. Do I think both events are related? No, but we’ll see!”
The Dimension Postal Delivery Service reported malfunctions with their sorting and processing system that led to mail and packages being delivered to their wrong recipients last week. It has triggered a minor response from authorities, but it is believed it is not abnormal. Still, the DPF states that neither event is something for the public to worry about. Even so, Lucid’s bounty was raised, but the DPF is not suspecting him to be at fault for the DPDS mishap as of yet.
“Heh, I hope it is him,” a local bounty hunter tells me, “Nothing excites me more than seeing that little dream demon’s bounty go up after something wild happens. The hunt for Lucid is on, and I’ll be leading it.”
The DPF asks the public to report any tips to them that could help with the investigation. They also ask to report any sightings of Lucid to any agent or nearby officer.
DREAM WORLD PREPARES TO BID WINTER GOODBYE

The dream world is slowly putting the snow boots and coats away as the winter season is slowly coming to an end.
According to the Dimension Weather Prediction Service, meteorological spring is expected to begin on March 1, and some signs of it are already being seen.
“We’re already seeing some dimensions begin to warm up ahead of spring,” senior meteorologist at the DWPS, Cirrus, tells us, “Dimensions have cooled down in the winter, but there are signs of seasonal changes. Warmer and pleasant temperatures usually come in the spring!”
But with warmer temperatures, there is also the possibility of experiencing rain showers and thunderstorms.
“We haven’t released our seasonal outlook yet, but historically, springtime in the dream world is met with both warmer temperatures and an increase of thunderstorms in some dimensions,” Cirrus explains, “The DWPS will release its seasonal outlook on the first, so keep an eye out for that if you’re curious to hear what spring will likely bring for us!”
Some dream world citizens are already bidding goodbye to winter. “Yeah I put away my coats and boots after stepping outside the other day. It felt pretty good!” a local traveler tells us, “It’s almost beach weather- almost!”
Others don’t want to say goodbye so soon. “Aw man, I’m gonna miss winter in the dream world. There are only so many dimensions that are in winter year-round, but I’m gonna miss having to go out in sweaters when the temperatures are cool. Also, spring brings allergies, yuck!” a local artist tells me.
While the DWPS is preparing to issue its seasonal outlook for spring, there are reports that they are going to be cautious this time around, following the abysmal winter season they failed to see coming. Because of this, they may issue some precautions about their outlook, to further make clear to the public that these are simply predictions based on precedent.

Dear Epsilon, what are some known vortices in the real world?

Hello W. I’m sure you know what a vortex is, but for those who don’t, a vortex in the real world is a spiraling energy source that can allow humans to gain access to the dream world- usually by accident. In other words, they are portals to the dream world. All vortices have one type of specific energy: clockwise or counter-clockwise.
Vortices with clockwise energy have a “lifting” force that is considered as positive energy. These vortices are not means of access to the dream world. From what I’ve learned, these vortices have a gentle and peculiar aura to them that most humans use for spiritual or astronomical purposes. Some examples of this in the real world would be Stonehenge, Mount Fuji, and the Temple of Kukulcán.
Counter-clockwise energy vortices have a “sinking” force that is considered as negative energy. These vortices are the ones that can land humans into the dream world, but again it’s usually by accident. Humans often view these vortices as “paranormal”, “unexplainable”, or even “haunted” but they’re really portals to our world. Some examples of this in the real world would be the Bermuda Triangle, the Hoia forest, and the Sherman Ranch.
Now don’t get me wrong: there are millions of vortices in the real world. That doesn’t mean there isn’t a chance for a counter-clockwise vortex to make a human vanish. Counter-clockwise vortices that are too weak still have a minute chance to “capture” a human and send them to our world. It’s not known what activates a vortex to make humans vanish into thin air, but it’s speculated that it has to do with the right conditions. Essentially, being in the right place for the vortex, but at the wrong time.
Many humans who go missing in the real world with no explanation are a result of stumbling upon a negative energy vortex at the wrong time. In recent years, some vortices have weakened dramatically, like the Bermuda Triangle, so it’s possible some of the more prominent and infamous ones will too.
Vortices are a strange phenomenon in the real world that humans can’t explain, but hey, at least your local cat-boy is able to with no problem.
Dear Epsilon, have dream world entities ever been trapped in the real world?

Hello Krip. There are many stories of people from our world getting trapped in the human world, but they seem to live either in secret or among humans if they can’t come back.
Humans have dubbed them as “cryptids”- a creature that’s said to exist, but hasn’t been proven by humans. “Bigfoot”? Real. “Chupacabra” Real as well. “Mothman” Yep, real. That includes creatures like gnomes, fairies, werewolves, vampires, even the unicorn- although, unicorns have now mostly stayed in the dream world. All “cryptids” are real, and come from our world. Many reach the real world by accident and cannot escape, having to spend their lives in secret or in hiding. Such accidents have been dated back to thousands of years, and the earliest humans have documented such incidents of encountering them, but are often seen as “myths”, “legends”, “folklore”, or just “pseudoscience”.
Now, what about the “Veil?” The Veil is a phenomenon where humans can’t necessarily “see” dream world creatures by how they really look. A werewolf might look like a dog, or a dream demon might look like a human. However, this phenomenon is not entirely explained well. You see, it’s thought that some humans are immune to the Veil, and could explain why they see strange creatures. It’s also thought that video cameras can see past the Veil, and would explain why humans can capture them on film. However, the Veil might be the culprit as to why many sightings caught on film are in poor quality, as the Veil distorts it. The Veil is very strange, and still an unexplained phenomenon.
But back to the main topic, there have been and still are cases of people from our world getting trapped in the real world. The thing is, we don’t know until it’s too late to do anything about it. Sending teams into the real world can be dangerous, as once you’re in the real world, you have no communication access to the dream world to ask for help. It’s the reason why traveling to the real world is extremely prohibited. Dream world creatures may end up caught in human related events like conflict or illegal activities that could be life-threatening. Perhaps some of those “cryptids” are living better lives than some of us. I hope this explains your question.
