ISOLATED SHOWERS ACROSS THE DREAM WORLD THIS WEEK

Following an update from the dream world’s head weather agency, more dimensions are experiencing rain showers this week, ranging from light to moderate.
According to the Dimension Weather Prediction Service, these rain showers have become more numerous, but remain isolated in nature. It’s important to keep in mind that not every outdoor dimension is reporting rain. According to DWPS statistics, only 40 percent of outdoor dimensions in the dream world are seeing light to moderate rainfall at this time.
“When you put it into perspective, not even half of the outdoor dimensions are seeing rainfall,” Cirrus tells me, “But that’s also including the winter dimensions, so the number is a little misleading. If we exclude winter dimensions, the number goes up to 43 percent, which is still less than half.”
Despite an increase of rain reports, the number of reports for thunderstorms has remained low, but the DWPS isn’t letting its guard down regarding those either.
“Rain showers could potentially turn into thunderstorms which could also turn into severe thunderstorms. Remember, rain showers have a 5% chance of turning into a thunderstorm with only 1% of those becoming severe,” Cirrus explains, “When we say ‘severe,’ it’s categorized as a thunderstorm with strong winds in excess of 90 kph, containing small to large hail, and excessive lightning. Flooding is also a possibility, but we don’t take that into consideration for severe thunderstorms. It’s always best to listen to the DWPS in case the weather changes suddenly.”
The DWPS is expecting these rain showers to persist until the end of the month. There still isn’t any forecast that hints at widespread severe weather across the dream world, but do pay attention to any updates put out by the weather agency. RAINY DAYS MEANS LAZY DAYS

With many outdoor dimensions stuck in the rain, dream world citizens have become either stuck indoors or forced to go out in the rain to do their daily activities.
For those stuck indoors, it’s been a matter of staying in bed or laying on the couch trying to pass the time. Some have found entertainment in flipping through the channels on television while others have found that counting the raindrop streaks on the windows seems more fun.
“This is such a slow and gloomy day…” a local mushroom creature tells me, “It’s days like these that I want to stay inside, but I also can’t resist going out in the rain.”
“I’ve been trying to find some movies or something to keep me distracted and not bored,” a local wolf man says, “A lot of repeats and reruns…the news is starting to look more entertaining at this point if I’m being honest with you.”
“I’m staying home because of the rain!” Almoral tells me, “Not that I’m scared of it, but I just cannot have it ruining my hair which in turn ruins my naturally good looks. Do you think Lucid would find me cool if I got my hair wet? What if he’s out there right now in the rain?! Ahhh! Maybe I do need to go out then!”
“I’ve been needing to carry a poncho with me lately when delivering mail,” Dylan says, “It’s a bit annoying to wear, but at least it comes in pink- my favorite color!”
While dream world residents complain or rejoice the weather, some are getting inspired and getting creative with ways to get people to come out of their homes and into certain dimensions.
“I have this interesting idea that I thought of with other fellow residents,” Artisan of the Cafe dimension says, “I think it’ll be interesting…maybe even mysterious. Stay tuned then!”
No additional information was given regarding this mystery plan, but he says to come back in a week to see the plan in action.
“It won’t just be the Cafe…just stay tuned. You might wanna bring a trench coat along too.”
This secret plan will roll out next week for those that are interested in finding out what is happening. In the meantime, don’t forget to bring an umbrella or poncho if you’re heading out and about these next few weeks in the dream world.

Dear Epsilon, what’s the biggest dimension in the dream world?

Hello Hugh. If you’ve been across the dream world, you’ve probably noticed that a lot of dimensions can be big. The Desert stretches out for kilometres, as does the Tundra, Island, and Forest dimensions- just to name a few. But none of them compare to the size of the District dimension which is the largest dimension in the dream world.
You may have heard of the District in some way, shape, or form. The District is actually an artificial dimension, meaning that it wasn’t necessarily created by human memory or nostalgia, but rather by talented individuals who built it from the bottom up. There are a lot of individually owned establishments and resources in the District, many inspired by other dimensions, and it’s one of the few dimensions with vehicles.
The District is actually cut into six different pieces that are called “wards”. Each ward represents a specific continent in the real world, so we have the Asia ward, Europe ward, Oceania ward, Africa ward, Americas ward, and even Antarctica ward. Wards are cut down even further into certain enclaves. For example, the Asia ward is home to the Japan enclave, or the Europe ward is home to the Italy enclave, etc. The Antarctica ward is the only ward that doesn’t have a specific ethnic background and serves mostly for research or tourism.
Each ward has its own services, but no ward is more powerful than another. Each is seen as an equal and there is no significant history of any conflicts between enclaves in any ward. The people who live in the District, which is basically 85% of the dream world’s population, do get along and live mostly in peace.
The District is also home to big name organisations or figures like the DPF and the Council as well. Although, if you’re looking for the Council, you may want to look up. Their building sits high in the sky on a floating rock overlooking the District. If you’re extremely lucky some day, maybe you’ll get a bird’s eye view from up there if you ever get summoned.
While it is the biggest dimension, lost humans still have trouble finding their way there, and that’s understandable. The dream world is very big and the District accounts for just a portion of its size. Humans are more lucky to stumble into another dimension than the District, but DPF officers will always point you in the right direction. If you have time, why don’t we go and take a visit to the District? Don’t worry, I know my way around.

Hello H. If I had to choose between that and not luke-warm water, then I guess I’d go with warm water. Cold water doesn’t do my throat any good.

Hello Parr. While Lucid did help me out during my time in the DPF, he was not my assigned partner, but was instead my mentor. Lucid took the time to teach me a lot of things that came in handy during my intelligence officer days, and that includes combat training.

Hello Or. Going back to the first question, I was born in the District dimension towards the end of the 1700s. To be more specific, I was born in the English enclave of the Europe ward. I won’t go into detail of my early life, which I’m sure you’ve heard about already, but life during that time was “fancy” - at least if you were born into such a sophisticated family. I don’t really visit that enclave anymore and try to avoid it as much as I can if I visit the District.
