NEAP-1 ANTIDOTE DISTRIBUTION GOING SMOOTHLY

The distribution of the NEAP-1 antidote is going well, and that’s according to the DDCP.
Last Tuesday, the DDCP announced that they had already distributed around 19,000 “special” pies that contained the antidote for NEAP-1. They are planning to distribute 25,000 more in the upcoming week.
DDCP trucks have been seen on the move in different dimensions, particularly the District where the NEAP-1 outbreak had its biggest toll on people, and agents have been bringing the antidote where NEAP-1 infected individuals are being held by the DDCP under close observation. Agents are also distributing them to different addresses where NEAP-1 cases are confirmed of individuals stuck in their homes.
Elsewhere in the dream world, less DDCP trucks are seen, but more agents on foot travelling to areas where pockets of NEAP-1 cases popped up within the last month, and helping out distribute these special pies under close observation.
“We’ve made good progress on distributing the antidote in the rural dream world,” a DDCP agent tells me, “It’s less chaotic than doing it in the District, but the walk to places can be annoying when our trucks can’t make it through certain tunnels or roads.”
The DDCP has reported around 45,000 cases of NEAP-1 since the outbreak began and are still reporting cases from leftover contaminated pies in the dream world. There are still around 10-15 new cases of NEAP-1 per day, but the DDCP says that they are working on getting rid of the contaminated pies and that cases should flatten out close to zero by the end of the month.
“We have special agents in the DDCP who are going around getting rid of those nasty pies,” Ophelia, NEAP-1 response coordinator, tells me, “NEAP-1 is still around, but the trends are going downward and this is such a good sign for many who are tired of having to stay home and want to get back to normality.”
Ophelia states that the DPF is helping out with distributing pies to those infected individuals stuck in their homes after the DDCP could not reach them in time since it counts as a rescue mission.
“I talked to Finnegan, who recently came back to work as leader after getting NEAP-1, receiving the antidote, staying a few days at a hospital, and he agreed to send out rescue operation team members to the places where sick individuals are trapped and distribute the antidote to them,” Ophelia says, “I’m happy to see Finnegan back considering that he was one of the early NEAP-1 victims. Good to see he’s feeling better again!”

LAST FEW WEEKS OF AUTUMN SHOW COOLER WEATHER

Recent dream world citizens have begun to notice that the temperatures in certain dimensions appear to have gotten a bit cooler, and they’re not wrong.
According to the DWPS, the dream world’s weather service, the last few weeks of autumn will be cooler. They explain that since winter is coming, the temperatures will begin to drop slowly before getting colder by December.
“Winter is coming!” Cirrus of the DWPS tells me, “As we approach the final weeks of autumn, the weather will slowly turn cooler and colder by the time that December comes. We start seeing snow increase in dimensions around the start of December.”
Cirrus explains that snow will soon become a widespread precipitation, but we won’t see it across the dream world until mid-December.
“Autumn will end normally, but if you’re waiting for snow, we still have about a month to go!” she explains, “In the meantime, you better get out those sweaters and jackets because the weather is becoming much cooler!”
According to the DWPS website, autumn runs from September 1 to November 30 in the dream world. As November is about halfway through, that means that winter will begin on December 1, and that has some dream world citizens excited.
“I love winter! It’s such a pretty season with all of the snow!” said a local penguin.
“Winter is the best season, and that’s not just because it's the Christmas season, hehehe,” Rainier, Secretary of Christmas Affairs at the Pole tells me, “It’s just a wonderful season overall! Nothing beats it!”
The DWPS mentions that autumn this year has been average. After an underwhelming summer, autumn proved to be alright and normal, with nothing out of the ordinary in terms of meteorology.
“Not taking into account the NEAP-1 situation, which is out of this field, but autumn was average this year in the dream world just as we predicted!” Cirrus says, “The DWPS will issue their seasonal outlook soon, but for now, let’s enjoy the last few weeks of autumn!”

Dear Nate, is there internet in the dream world?

Hello Webster! Just like in the real world, there is also internet in the dream world! Internet in the dream world functions very similarly as in the real world; you would need to get a connection of some sort, whether it be through wireless or cable connection. Once you do get connected, you have access to a lot of material!
I will say that internet service in the dream world varies by dimension. Not all dimensions will have access or WiFi that you will be able to use to connect to it. Service is quite spotty around the dream world, but you are always welcome to visit any of the technological dimensions like the Computer, Lab, Technology, and of course, Internet dimension for guaranteed internet access!
Something to note, some material you may try to access on the internet is restricted. The Council of the dream world also restricts certain content from being viewed. Plus, just like in the real world, you are always being monitored when browsing through pages or searching up things. Certain keywords or phrases can put you on the DPF’s monitor list; you won’t necessarily be arrested, but they will keep an extra eye on you just to make sure you aren’t doing anything wrong. Once it is determined you’re fine, you get taken off this list. The downside is that you never know if you’re on the list until you get a visit from an agent! So, be careful what you look up!
But as always, there are plenty of fun things on the internet here to check out. There are tons of news sources, sports, video viewing websites, even online games! My favorite online game is probably the one with the blocks. You get tools to mine blocks and make cool structures, and there are also animals in it too! It’s quite fun, but if you ever play, watch out for the monsters...they can hurt you in the game! Maybe we can play sometime together if we have time!
Dear Nate, what’s your favorite thing to eat?

Hi D! Oh boy, food! Well, I am a bit of a picky eater, so let me try to think as I explain.
There are some creatures who like eating normal human food like pizza, ramen, tacos, or apples. Some creatures have other appetites like eyeballs, slime, motor oil, or even humans! I for one do not like eating any of those things. Although, one time I did try out a strange beverage and well, let’s just say that Lucid had to come and pick me up. Speaking of him, creatures also have specific times they eat. Some can go a human week without eating, some for 3 months, and some years! I, for example, can last one month between meals, while Lucid lasts three months! Fig can last about half a year, and Telly, well, I’m not sure if they even eat at all!
So back to your question, I really enjoy eating human food. So many types of food they make, but to be honest, since I got a bit of a sweet tooth, I really like sundaes! I don’t mind the flavor that you give me, but sundaes have never let me down! It’s why I miss the Diner Dimension, because their sundaes were always so good! Strawberry sundaes with hot fudge are always a real treat. Of course, I can always get sundaes elsewhere, but they don’t make them like they did in the diner…
There are many types of food in the dream world, and maybe I’m not like the other entities who eat eyeballs or devour trash, but sundaes are the best! It’s the best thing humans created that is edible for a dream demon like me!
