DPF DETAINS THREE INDIVIDUALS FOR INTERROGATION FOLLOWING BIZARRE REQUEST

The DPF is currently in custody of three individuals who were detained yesterday for not having proper identification on them when approaching a patrol officer. This, however, is not the big story. The main story is that these three individuals are not from the dream world nor the real world!

According to Dimension Patrol Unit chief Matías, these three individuals did not have proper identification on them when they approached a patrol officer for assistance. Aftering being detained and brought in for interrogation, it was revealed that these three individuals are not from the real world at all. Instead, they claim to come from a world called Wonderland.

"From what we've been told so far, they are claiming to come from a world outside of ours looking for assistance," chief Matías said, "They come from Wonderland and say it is an urgent matter that they need our help with."

However, the chief admits that he's not sure how exactly the DPF is going to help out with their request.

"We're not really sure how we can help them out," the DPU chief said, "We have a bureau to help get humans back to the real world, but this world they speak of, we're not sure."

The case has also been picked up by the DIA. The chief stopped by to ask the individuals a few questions and reportedly got some peculiar responses. 

"One individual said how a rift had opened in their world coming from ours and that it's causing both of our worlds to slowly get closer to one another," DIA chief Daiki said, "If true, this means that our world could collide with theirs and cause some very strange and possibly dangerous consequences." 

When asked for possible solutions, the chief said it might take a while. 

"This is very sudden. I was in the midst of finishing up the magic show investigation case until this came running along," the DIA chief said, "We've dealt with rift portals in the past. Those portals were causing strange anomalies in the dream world until they were sealed. Even so, anomalies persisted." 

The chief went on to say that the same perpetuator is likely at it again.

"I have no doubt that Francis Robert P. Jackson is again opening up portals without authorization," he said, "We assumed the portals would stop, but apparently not. The question here is why did he open up a portal to this Wonderland place I'm being told of?" 

The chief says that the rift portal will be hard to find, but there may be another way to get them back home while also sealing and preventing the dream world from colliding with Wonderland.

"It's a method I didn't want to have to use, but it seems I must," chief Daiki said, "It will indeed involve the Box dimension, but not in the normal way."

The chief also mentioned that one of the individuals claims to know two specific people who can help.

"The individual kept repeating the names 'Mr. Rabbit' and 'Mr. Cat' during interrogation. Another individual claimed that they are likely referring to two people by the names of Epsilon and Dylan," the chief said, "I do not know anyone by those names, but I will ask around and see what comes up." 

With the Box dimension being back in the spotlight, it's worth mentioning that tampering with any dimension is illegal, but the chief will get approval from the Council.

"I will speak with the rest of the DPF chiefs, the Director, and the Council for thoughts and approval," chief Daiki said, "Please keep in mind that as our worlds get closer, things in the dream world will begin to get strange. Utilising the Box dimension may slightly speed up this scenario while also making things much stranger. Please stay tuned."

BOX DIMENSION: WHAT IS IT?

With the Box dimension making the news again, many are wondering just what it is and why it's so mysterious.

The Box dimension is just like any other dimension in the dream world. It's actually a fairly new dimension that first appeared around a decade ago. When a new dimension appears, a special team is assembled to go check it out, but this trip wasn't like any other!

It was soon realized that the Box dimension is…strange, to say the least. Actually, what was thought to have been the Box dimension was actually a "sub-dimension" of that dimension. It almost makes no sense, right? As the team explored more and more, they eventually came across what is believed to be the main hub of the Box dimension. It's an area filled with boxes- lots of boxes! With no other "sub-dimension" to go from there, it was determined that this area was the main hub and the team made it back safely out of there.

In the coming years, there would be small expeditions into the Box dimension, but as much research that was done in that time, it's still very weird and mysterious. No one knows what the contents of the boxes in there contain and no one's really brave enough to find out. In recent years, it's been subject to leaks that have caused strange things in the dream world. While those have been patched, it seems things will get weirder again soon!

The "sub-dimensions" of the Box dimension are said to actually be other worlds outside of ours within this dimension, but the evidence and research we have is little to prove this. It's going to be a while before we understand why there are other areas within the Box dimension. We're also not so sure if these areas are directly tied to the main hub of the Box dimension in the first place. There's a lot to figure out still.

Regardless, the Box dimension is a very strange place. The DPF has issued a notice that disruptions to the dream world will occur soon as a result of activity to take place in that dimension. While there shouldn't be anything life-threatening to come out of this, the public has been asked to prepare for things to get stranger than normal.

Dear Nate, how much more advanced is the dream world than the real world?

Hi Pheu! If there’s one thing about the dream world that is different from the real world is that we are a bit more advanced than they are! However, it depends on what field we’re talking about, because not everything at every level is necessarily advanced. 

Let’s start off with medicine. As you may have already known, the dream world has lots of different kinds of medicines that humans in the real world just don’t have access to for various reasons. We have potions, elixirs, pills, syrups and other medicines that help for different things. Some of them help us look younger, some help us feel better from certain diseases, some even cure things that humans can’t! As for healthcare, we’re also pretty much more advanced than humans for it. It’s kind of rare for people to stay ill for a long period of time…thank goodness for dream world medicine! 

What about technology? Well, in terms of technology, we’re not that far off from humans. Actually, lots of us in the dream world tend to prefer more “retro” technology over modern technology. We like using vinyls, analog clocks, analog televisions, and those antique radios, but there’s still people out there who like using flat-screen televisions, digital clocks, and modern stereos! We don’t necessarily have any “futuristic” machines, however, I guess some areas do, like the sorting machine in the DPDS, or the replication machine used to replicate human material like CDs and movies. Overall, we’re not necessarily more advanced in technology than humans, although we have the knowledge and power to become so. I guess people like feeling more retro than modern, you know? 

And what about infrastructure? It’s about the same as the real world, but some can argue that it’s better than the real world. Our roads are fine and kept up to date in most spots across the dream world, we have telephone lines to reach some of the isolated areas, we have Wi-Fi and internet running in most areas now too. Our buildings are routinely inspected…hmm, but nothing necessarily “advanced”...we just often clean up and make sure things are running smoothly! 

That being said, the dream world does have its wins over some parts in comparison to the real world, but ultimately, I can’t speak for humans because I’ve never been to the real world to see for myself! I’m just glad we have more creative freedoms down here that allow us to thrive and prosper. If you ever visit the real world, feel free to send little dream demon Nate a postcard!

Dear Nate, can and how do you summon demons like Lucid for example?

Hi Sue! Hmm, well, yes you can. As you know, I am a demon myself! Well, a dream demon, but still a demon nonetheless! Lucid is a dream demon as well, as you know, but summoning demons depends on the demon itself.

Some demons require certain conditions to be met for a successful summon. Most of these can be found in old scriptures that were written long ago by mysterious sorcerers and the like. I would say how to summon me, but, I can’t reveal that information due to DPF protocols, haha. You might know that some demons might require salt, special boards, maybe even a drop of blood for summoning. It really depends on who you’re dealing with. 

As for Lucid, well, I can’t say either! Actually, the scripture written for Lucid’s summoning appears to have been lost. Sure, there are theories of how to summon him, and there are also those who claim to know, but no one has been successful! Only Lucid himself knows how to, and I don’t think he would spill the beans on his conditions to summon. All I know is that many have tried to summon Lucid, but failed. I think there have been close attempts, but something is always missing. 

So to recap, yes, you can summon demons! However, it truly depends on the demon you’re dealing with. You’d probably want to look for demonic scriptures in the library if you’re looking for a specific demon, but you won’t find any DPF members in there, much less Lucid’s scripture. Keep in mind that some demons don’t like being disturbed, so...I would stay away from all that!
