STRANGE PORTAL TO MANSION OPENS UP, ALMORAL TO BLAME

A sudden, unauthorized portal has opened up in the Mall Dimension, and has DPF agents scrambling to get things under control.

Many individuals have taken to the dimension to check it out, but are being asked to not venture into the portal. “We aren’t allowing anyone to go through that portal. We know Almoral has opened it up,” said a DPF agent on the scene.

“Oh that Almoral, always being so extra.” said Telly, “Always wanting to visit the real world by opening portals like a maniac. He’s no better than Lucid, truthfully! He should stick to talking to spirits. Visiting the real world could be dangerous!”

Almoral’s mansion is a strange place to visit. Many times have people tried to get the Council to label it as forbidden, but requests are always denied. It is said that no one should bother Almoral anyway, for they could be cursed. “Almoral plays around with some form of magic. He can curse anyone if he wants to, but I’d suspect there’d have to be a reason to,” said Telly.

As for the portal, it’s too strong and unstable for it to immediately close. “Ah geez, look at that! There’s no way this thing will close immediately!” said Figment of the Backrooms. “I open portals all the time, but at least I always ask for permission first! Almoral is unhinged, this will take weeks to close!”

“That old necromancer needs to close the portal. It’s ruining my pumpkin business!” Cal of the Patch Dimension said. Almoral’s mansion attracts many people to the property, but few actually enter the building itself. The land is said to be cursed, but others say it’s just a myth to keep people out.

Almoral’s mansion is set to be accessible for two weeks, while the portal remains open. Visitors are asked to stay out, and to avoid Almoral at all costs.

DIMENSIONS DRESS UP FOR HALLOWEEN

Behold and beware: some dimensions in the dream world have dressed up for Halloween!

Travellers and inhabitants have taken delight in the spooky looks that some dimensions have undergone. Some rooms are darker, some have been given a makeover, and some are giving out candy.

The Neighborhood Dimension is giving out candy to those strolling through it. “I got a chocolate bar! It’s family sized too!” said one Trick-or-Treater. “I got a syrup-covered eyeball. My favorite!” said another one.

Some have gathered in the Campfire Dimension to tell scary stories around the campfire. “We’re out here in the middle of the woods, far from civilization. What better way to spend time than by telling scary stories!” said a camper.

The Patch Dimension is once again exhibiting strange behavior. Some pumpkins have begun to glow abnormally, and the corn maze has gotten darker. It isn’t sure what causes the dimension to behave this way during October, but some travellers still visit for the pumpkins!

Overall, it appears most dimensions are in good shape for Halloween. For those wanting to tour the dream world, please be advised of recent ghost sighting reports. If you encounter any paranormal phenomenon, please report it to the nearest ghost hunting headquarters.

Halloween in the dream world will last until November 4, before things go back to normal.

Dear Lucid, how come you never use contractions when speaking?

Hello Sinn. I am very well capable of using contractions when I speak, however, I always found that using them in sentences are just shortcuts to phrases. In other words, it is laziness. Why not just say it out instead of shortening it? “Do not.” “I am.” “Would have.” You get the idea.
