CLUB PREPARES FOR GRAND HALLOWEEN CELEBRATION

The Club dimension is about to be the center of a grand Halloween party next week.

Preparations are currently underway for Count Anastasius’ grand Halloween bash. Construction workers were seen putting up decorations and testing the lights and sound systems.

Count Anastasius has long held parties on Halloween, but had to cancel them in 2022 and 2023. Since the dream world has been quiet as of late, the Count decided to bring back his Halloween bash, but this time, out in the rural dream world itself.

“I know it's a bit strange for me to hold this event outside of my residence, but I want people to feel comfort and security,” Count Anastasius stated, “Many have been anxious about bad things happening to our world, but it's been quiet and safe. I want to use this time to show everyone that we can have fun and everything is fine.”

The Club says that a reservation was put in place a few weeks ago and recently got approved. The reservation was put forth by Count Anastasius himself and closes the Club for a private event on Halloween. This means that Count Anastasius has the dimension for himself for a day, but will invite anyone to come.

“I will only have the Club for a day, but in this time I want to invite anyone and everyone to join,” the vampire said, “It has been three years since the last party of mine and I want to make it special. I hope we get enough attendees to make this one eventful day.”

Many residents are already talking about going to this event, while some have other events to do that day.

“Can't wait to go! These parties are great!” Hazel, a witch told me, “The Count knows how to throw parties so I have no doubt this one will be amazing!”

“The Count has always been kind enough to throw events like these every year,” Jiangshi, a zombie told me, “I look forward to attending as always.”

“Eh, I have another party to go to,” Dylan, a local poster delivery worker said, “I’m going to my best friend's Almoral’s party! It's gonna be way cooler!”

“I'll be going too, though I'm still anxious,” Beth, a doll person said to me, “It's been quiet…too quiet lately. Ah, if the Count says it's fine then I trust him.”

Count Anastasius says that everything should be ready by Halloween.

“Doors will open to the public on Halloween,” he said, “In the meantime, we're getting everything ready until then. I hope to see you all there.”

The Club dimension is currently closed but will reopen on Halloween. Visitors who plan to attend Count Anastasius’ party should arrive ahead of time and preferably in costume, if they'd like.

DPF CLARIFIES THERE IS NO IMPENDING ‘DOOMSDAY’ FOLLOWING CHIEF CONCERNS

The Dimension Protection Force is clarifying rumors once more about an impending “doomsday” scenario following concerns from DIA chief Daiki in recent weeks.

If you recall, chief detective Tsukanai Daiki warned residents of being complacent as upcoming Halloween festivities are around the corner. The chief stressed that, although the dream world appears safe, no one should let their guards down completely as there could still be danger out there.

These warnings were enough to once again fuel conspiracy theories about an impending ‘doomsday’ scenario that the DPF has been quietly preparing for. Said theories have been circulating on the social media application, LiminalSpaces, to which the platform itself has implemented a special feature to curve these posts.

While the application recently stated that the number of posts flagged regarding this subject matter have dropped, it is once again seeing an uptick in said posts.

“Things were quieting down up until chief Daiki came out with that statement,” a representative for LiminalSpaces told me, “Our algorithm is being tweaked to better accommodate the influx of posts about this subject matter, but it’s not tagging every post about this and some are going under the radar.”

The site itself says that it recently implemented a feature for users to report posts for fact checking. LiminalSpaces’ fact checking feature, dubbed as “Reality Check,” consists of the algorithm doing the fact checking itself. Users were not able to report posts for possible misinformation, but are now able to.

“If you see a post circulating a debunked lie or rumor, be sure to report it as such,” the representative said, “We want to make sure the algorithm gets enough reports and feedback to better ‘fix’ itself on its own with the amount of posts it may flag incorrectly or miss completely.”

The DPF has clarified once again that there is no impending doomsday scenario on the horizon and stated that chief Daiki was simply reminding everyone to be safe.

“No, there’s no end of the world scenario that we’re preparing for,” a DPF spokesperson said, “What the chief was trying to say is that we should still be vigilant and safe as we always should. Halloween is near and you know, we want everyone to have fun but to be safe.”

The DPF says that the Intelligence Affairs Agency is currently in charge of monitoring any possible anomalies that may arise, but state that there is nothing notable to report as of now.

“The IAA has been closely monitoring social media posts and other areas of intelligence for anything that could hint at ‘something’ to come, but there’s nothing,” the spokesperson said, “Even so, just be safe. There’s still bad people out there and we don’t want anyone getting hurt. The last thing we would want is for someone to be left in the dark about this matter so again, we want everyone to have fun but to be safe. There is no impending doomsday event. Spread the word.”

Hello Oh! Ugh, they’ve been here a few times, but it’s always the SAME! They say that they’ve noticed I’ve been looking up information on Lucid- which is prohibited- but I’m just curious!! It’s not my fault that they erased all of Lucid’s information from the interwebs. Like, any information you’ll find is ALL negative! No one’s nice to Lucid on here!! Dear Almoral, what happens when a human dies in the real world?

Hello D! Human death is SO fascinating to me because it’s an entire process! You see, when humans die in the real world, their soul actually descends into ours! There’s a region in the dream world dubbed as the Dead Soul Zone or DSZ. This area is where ALL human souls descend to upon death and eventually make their way to the Quartier Fantome! Because of this, there’s a checkpoint gate that these souls must cross through to actually pass on into this new life! Humans will arrive at the gate and must present their death certificate which automatically appears in their pockets once they get here! It shows their name, date of birth, date of death, cause of death, and where they died on it! This allows them to move on into their next life here in the dream world! This area of the dream world is uninhabited, but the DPU is the one who controls the gate itself since it's still under their jurisdiction. Once a human soul passes this gate, it’s on to the Quartier Fantome! But don’t worry, all human souls do rest upon death for they are all free and live on in both memory and spirit- literally!

Dear Almoral, what kind of ghosts are there?

Hello Fann! You’d be surprised at how many kinds of ghosts there are! Some types are more famous or perhaps infamous than others. Let’s see… Specters are basically the most common type of ghost. These are simply human spirits who are basically neutral- neither good or bad- they just vibe! You may have also heard about the poltergeists…and wow, they are a LOT to handle! They are VERY active and like to mess a lot with real people- particularly in the real world. There’s also banshees and oh boy, you’ll definitely HEAR them! Banshees scream and cry and are overall pretty loud. Not the pleasant type of ghost to be around to be honest… Shades are ghosts who are pretty quiet and shy and don’t really mean harm. I think they are actually pretty sad in emotions and tend to avoid people for the most part. The type of ghost a person becomes depends on their overall personality and character when they were alive. If you were a troublemaker, you’d probably be a poltergeist and if you were a decent person, you’d probably be a specter. But remember- these only apply for humans! I WISH it applied to us!

Dear Almoral, why do spirits haunt the real world if they end up in the dream world anyway?

Hello Goest! Yes, that’s a GOOD question. I remember talking to one of my ghost buddies about this because it always puzzled me too! From what I remember, sometimes those who die in the real world feel as if their time came too soon. They feel “incomplete” and “unsatisfied” that they have passed away. Because of this, they end up going back! Many times, they’ll go back to the real world to the place they died and stick around. Many feel upset and angry and may “haunt” the place because they truly feel like it’s not fair to move on just yet. There’s a LOT of areas in the real world where spirits reside because they don’t want to move on and it can cause a lot of fear and anxiety for humans to hear noises, see things move out of the corner of their eyes, and more! But I should also say that NOT ALL humans go back because of this!! Some human spirits go back to visit family members and other people they cared about just to see they are okay. Often, they may even manifest themselves to them to let them know they are doing okay! I think that’s pretty sweet! And of course, many MANY spirits go back to the real world on Dia de los muertos to see their loved ones! It also happens to be on my birthday… Hehe, I was practically born to be so interested in everything involving death!

A party at the Club? I mean, yeah it sounds fun and all, but won’t it be packed?? Meanwhile, mine is being held at my place! There’s a LOT of space to share!!
