HOLIDAY SEASON IS SAVED AFTER FINDING TRUE MEANING

The holiday season in the dream world has been saved just in time!
Just before midnight on Christmas Eve, a group of individuals broadcasted a message to the dream world via television with a simple message: It’s not about gifts.
Prior to Christmas Day, many dream world residents were feeling quite down and unhappy with the holiday, considering that Santa was not coming to town after everyone ended up on the naughty list. However, there was a solution for reversing this, but it had to come naturally.
From the information that is known, the Christmas spirit became corrupted after the positive energy in the air was drained. Because this only left negative energy, it caused everyone in the dream world to appear naughty, even if they were good.
A group of individuals, made up of Epsilon and Dylan of the Apartments, famed bounty hunter Sylveran, and leader of the DPF’s rescue operations team Finnegan, accompanied Rainier on a journey through the dream world on Christmas Eve to try and find a solution to the problem at hand. Rainier had stated that the answer to it would come naturally, but many in the group had grown tired and hopeless.
“Things were looking reeaalllly bad, but guess WHAT! We did it! We saved the dream world!” Dylan of the Apartments said.
“Yes, it’s true we started getting impatient. I’m just glad we actually did it in time,” Epsilon of the Apartments told me.
“I figured the solution was what I was originally thinking, but I thought there was no way in the dream world that something that cheesy was the solution,” Sylveran said.
“Feels pretty good to have saved Christmas in the dream world. Consider it a rescue mission, if you will…we saved the holiday together!” Finnegan said.
“The solution to reverse everyone off the naughty list came to them naturally!” Rainier explained, “Hehe, although, it did take many hours of wandering around the dream world for them to realise it…”
Because Rainier’s own magic was not enough to reverse such an immense list, there had to be enough people to realise the true meaning of the holiday spirit.
“Christmas isn’t always about Santa, lights, or presents, but rather it’s about spending time with those you are close with like family and friends!” Rainier explained, “Once enough people realised that, it was enough for me to go in and reverse the rest of everyone with a little holiday magic!”
Rainier said that things went back to normal and Santa’s sleigh took off just after midnight on Christmas Day. Although things are back to normal, Rainier is not necessarily sure what caused the Christmas spirit to be drained.
“It seems like someone out there purposefully drained the Christmas spirit to make everyone in the public naughty for whatever reason. I have a feeling they’ve been on the naughty list for a while now, but I’m not even sure where to start!” Rainier said.
With everything back to normal, Rainier simply has one final message to share.
“The holidays shouldn’t always revolve around gift giving. Sometimes, it’s better to give than to receive! Just know that at the end of the day, it should be spent with family, friends- people or things you hold close to heart. That is the true meaning of the Christmas spirit, as cheesy as it sounds. Take this advice into 2023 and let’s just hope next year’s Christmas isn’t as weird as this year’s…although, something tells me it’ll be a whole new adventure…”
WRAPPING UP A CHAOTIC AND STRANGE 2022

Hello hello everyone! Sir Timely, the keeper and tracker of time, here! It is my pleasure to come on the Subliminal Tribune to write an article for them! As you know, the year 2022 is coming to an end. This year had a lot of notable moments in what can be universally described as a very strange year indeed. I’ve been keeping track of all of the notable moments this year, because not only do I keep track of time, but I also keep track of anything notable and historic for time-keeping archival purposes. Here are some of my personally favorite top 5 things that happened this year in the dream world!
#5: Monochrome rooms
Starting off pretty relaxed, in May of this year, a group of individuals teamed up to paint a few dimensions in total black and white! Because of the ongoing rain showers that were widespread in the dream world, the gloomy weather gave these folks a great idea of throwing this event! It felt pretty strange walking into monochrome rooms…it was like being in an old cartoon or movie- you know, one of those old mystery detective movies! This event was very cool.
#4: A frigid winter
Who could forget just how cold it was last January? A freak weather event caused the entirety of the outdoor dream world to pile up in snow and ice! This caught even the DWPS off guard as they did not expect things to spiral completely out of control. Things got so bad that people were ordered to stay indoors and several services, including emergency services, were suspended. Eventually, the snow and ice did let up, but not before outdoor dimensions recorded historical snowfall! Clean up crews did go out and clear up all the snow and things slowly went back to normal. This was a crazy event to track for me, but not the craziest. Let’s hope next year isn’t too bad.
#3: Rift portal detected
This is one of the more strange and mysterious entries on my top 5 list. A strange rift-like portal was detected in July that, to my understanding, has still not been fully explained. The portal itself did not seem to lead to anywhere in particular, and it kept leaving paint everywhere! I heard some rumors that the rift actually came from another world outside of ours, but this information is conflicting. The DPF managed to contain the rift and has it stored in a secure, undisclosed location. According to some intelligence, it looks like the rift may have been to blame for some of the strange things that were happening in the dream world this year- but we have to know if this is true since strange things still occurred after that!
#2: Outbreak
I can’t leave this particular event out of the list, can I? Last September, going into October, was quite scary. A new disease was detected in the dream world, which the DDCP dubbed as “NEAP-1” or Neapworm. Caused by a parasite, it turned people who ate contaminated pumpkin pies from the Patch and other locations into really scary zombie-like things! Luckily, a team of brave individuals went out to find leads and came up with where the disease was originating from and even found a cure for it! I have some strange outbreaks from my old records of tracking historical events in the dream world, but this one was quite crazy! I never want to see another disease wreaking havoc again!
#1: Topsy-turvy dream world
Many events that happened this year were pretty strange- weird even- but none were as weird and strange as the end of March and early April! The Box dimension began to leak out and not only was this leak causing a lot of weirdness in the dream world, but it was also taking items from dimensions away with it! The DPF sent out two brave agents to go into the Box dimension to recover all of the lost items and clean up the mess it was leaving. The theory was that if the mess was cleaned up and all items were taken out from where they weren’t supposed to be, then the Box dimension leak would be patched up and things would go back to normal- and back to normal it did! Some dimensions were upside down, some dimensions lost their flooring, other dimensions were floating above others, some dimensions went back in time, and others were just completely messy! Fortunately, this event did not hurt anyone or damage any dimension significantly, but it was quite a memorable event indeed! I would be lying if I said this event wasn’t silly or fun, but it really was! I almost wish for this to happen again because of how silly it was, but I suppose it’s for the better of the dream world!

Back in the day when I had the time, I would spend hours in the Grand Library reading book after book. Reading is fundamental after all.
Dear Lucid, do you prefer pens or pencils?

Hello Eugene. I tend to prefer ink pens over pencils when I am writing. It takes a lot of patience to be careful not to make any errors when writing with an ink pen. I suppose I make little to no errors nowadays when using an ink pen. If you must know, I like black ink pens.

Hello Appa. Yes, I can wear clothes other than my hoodie. Are you saying I dress too basic? Well, you are not wrong. It is the most simple outfit choice for someone on the run like me, but I can wear other types of clothing too. The gender of the clothes does not matter to me, just as long as they fit and I feel comfortable in them.

Dear Lucid, how do you know so much?

Greetings Nurr. Many people have asked me this question before and all I can say is that knowledge is gained through the curiosity one holds. The more curious you are about things, the more likely you are to go out of your way to learn more about it. There are many forms of media nowadays that you can gain knowledge through, whether it be through the internet or through a book. I spent my entire life reading book after book and retaining so much of that knowledge in my brain. Since I was quite young, I have had a fascination with learning and it all stemmed from being curious. To this day, I am still learning more and more about many things. Do not be discouraged to ever stop learning because the more you know, the more you gain.
Dear Lucid, do you have any wishes for next year?

Hello Rez. Wishes for 2023…hmm, that is a poignant question. When I think about the year to come, I am reminded about the passing of time. Human life is so short when compared to the life I have had, so it is normal for humans to have wishes with each year to come. As for me, the older I get, the less wishes I have. I do not know where to begin, but I suppose I wish for a year to come where I am not blamed for anything wrong that happens in the dream world. Yes, I did break the biggest rule, but that does not mean I am out for revenge on the dream world- the same one who turned its back on me. I believe redemption will come someday, but I do not think it will come next year. In a more light-hearted wish, I wish…to be less awkward… There are certain things I am not quite sure how to express myself without sounding unsure or shy. It can be difficult to not stutter over words or have sweaty hands, though this mostly happens when I am around Nate. Oh, I hope he does not think it is strange. Alright, I wish to be more confident around Nate next year. After all, there are still some things I am too shy to do. I hope I can overcome these things next year, and of course, be blamed for less.
Upcoming Events:
Now- New Year’s Party 2022: The final party of the year! It’s pretty small, but it’s the spirit of the new year that matters! Visit the Future dimension where the main action is happening!
Now- Lucid’s birthday party: A strange crate appeared in the Party dimension. Dare you to go touch it and see what happens!
January 12- Holiday season ends: It’s always so sad to see the holidays come and go. Unless you’re a little hater, then of course you’d like to see it leave.
January 2023- Another frigid winter: Brrr…the ice and snow aren’t letting up soon. Though, I would hope the DWPS is prepared for winter next year. This year’s winter was crazy!
Next year- The hunt for a suspect: Looks like weird things will continue on in the dream world in 2023. Our attention shifts to searching for a suspect, their motives, and how to stop them…
